About Broadtexter
Broadtexter offers a service that allows any publisher ("Broadcaster" or "Broadcasters") to include a modular sign-up form, provided by Broadtexter, on the web pages of their choosing so that any person ("User") can submit the required information into the module to sign-up to receive text-messages from that Broadcaster. The process of sign-up is completely opt-in and anyone who signs up to receive text-messages from a particular Broadcaster will ONLY receive text-messages specifically from how THAT Broadcaster. Anyone can sign up for as many different Broadcaster text-messages as they wish. Broadtexter cares deeply about User privacy. Information Collection and Used by Broadtexter
Broadtexter collects User submitted information including name, mobile number, and mobile carrier. Broadtexter may also log non-personally-identifiable information including IP addresses, aggregate User data, and browser type. This data may be used to manage the service and/or track usage and improve the service. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.
Use of Cookies
Broadtexter may use cookies to store User preferences to enhance some of the features of the Broadtexter module. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information. You do not need to enable cookies in order to use Broadtexter.
Opt-out Information
Broadtexter Users may follow instructions to opt-out of receiving any Broadcaster text-messages from the module of THAT specific Broadcaster. Also, any User can opt-out of ALL Broadcaster text-messages from ANY Broadcaster Broadtexter module.
Third Party Advertising
Broadtexter does not display ANY third-party advertising on modules. Broadtexter takes privacy very seriously. User names and numbers will NEVER be SOLD or SHARED with anyone or any third party anywhere, EVER.
Security
Information submitted in a Broadtexter module is secure and Broadtexter takes precautions to insure that all personal information is kept private. We use reasonable measures to protect User information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to User information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of User information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of User information at any time. Termination of Services by Broadtexter
A User understands, acknowledges, and agrees that Broadtexter may, at its sole discretion and without liability to any User, terminate its offer of any specific text-messaging service or all text-messaging services at any time without advance notice.
Sharing and Disclosure of Information Broadtexter collects
Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, Broadtexter will not disclose User information to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by Broadtexter, whether or not a response is required by applicable law or to protect the safety of the public and Users of Broadtexter. Broadtexter may buy or sell a company, or one or more of the companies owned by Regal Digital LLC, or also may merge with or be acquired by another company. Broadtexter reserves the right to transfer User information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of Broadtexter or substantially all of its assets to that successor in interest.
Changes in Our Privacy Policy
From time to time we may make changes to our Privacy Policy. A User is bound by any minor changes to the policy when she or he uses the site after those changes have been made. If, however, we are going to use Users' personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify by posting a notice on the Broadtexter.com web site for 30 days, on all the Broadtexter modules, and may send out one text-message to each User at such time to inform Users of such a change.
