Communication between bands and clubs across the nation will make us all stronger and better equiped to keep on keepin’ on. Networking is the key my friends. Check out Arm The Pit. We just found about one of Canada’s newest artists from a friend of the Broadtexter family. She is living, breathing proof that if you create something familiar you’ll have fun, but if you forge through and test the boundaries you’ll get noticed. Her video for ‘Vaporous’ of the new Hybrid album is incredibly produced, wonderfully ethereal and has the kind of smart-sexy quality that gave Erika Badu such artistic gravity.

Broadtexter widgets can now be grabbed by fans and embedded on their pages. This is cool for an artist or band who has a street team or just some diehard fans who might take interest in promoting a particular mobile fan club on their own myspace, blog, or website. The process is real simple. Anyone can click on the ‘promote/embed’ link on the top-right area of the widget face and grab the code that pop-ups up. After embedding it on their web pages, the header and sub-header change to appropriately describe who they’re promoting.
