There’s Nothing Nada About The Nadas
One of the things I love most about the Nadas is that the lead singer’s voice reminds me of Bruce Cockburn….who rocks! The Nadas is one of the best Americana bands out there today. Be sure to check out the first song from their Myspace ’Blue Lights’. The vocals are very clear with amazing southern harmonies. I am also a huge fan of good ol’ school pedal steel playing, which is featured in this song.It’s no wonder that The Nadas were called the ‘Best College Band You’ve Never heard of’ by Playboy. There is definitely some Whiskey Town and Old 97’s in this band who hails from Des Moines, Iowa. Be sure to check out their website and see their full tour schedule which takes them all over the country through the summer.

I agree on the Old 97s reference. Bluesy and rocky, yet with enough twang in the right spots. Brilliant choice.
