Go check them out!

One thing that is clear about Go Radio is that people are listening to them.  Music fans are listening to them and musicians themselves are listening to this Pop/Rock/Indie band from Tallahassee, Florida.  Something that stands out to us here at Broadtexter is just how many new band sign-ups WE get from people saying that they found us from seeing the Broadtexter widget on Go Radio’s Myspace page.

Go Radio is full of hard thrash songs with great pop hooks.  If this band has not been placed in teen movies or episodes of MTV’s The Real World, I would be shocked.  Songs like, ‘Welcome To Life’ and ‘Dear Lucian Dance Forever’ are perfect for today’s TV market.  Music supervisors - take notice and be sure to put Go Radio on your radar!

With over 12,000 fans on their Myspace pageGo Radio is making a serious impact on the local live scene in their home state of Florida.  If you can’t make it to a live show check out the live version of ‘Forever My Father’ on their YouTube page.  The musical diversity of this band is truly amazing.  A lot of today’s Pop/Indie bands hide their lack of musicality in heavy guitar distortion and loud crashes of cymbals.  However, Go Radio shows what they and their songs are really made of by opting to do this version of ‘Forever My Father’ as a simple piano/vocal ballad with nothing more than a two-part harmony.  Finally, at the end of the song they launch into a dramatic guitar solos with crashing drums.  Many lesser bands could not even write a song that could stand on its own for 3 minutes and 17 seconds before bringing in the full band.  My hat goes off to Go Radio who are a rocking Indie Band who impressively have real songs underneath all the noise.
